Bear is Back
Over the last few weeks, we've had our spirits tested. Like the economy isn't enough - we also had our website yanked for a TOS violation because of a link to on another site that dared to show - now hide the children - a peepee! Let's just say we are not yodeling these days. We have found it challenging and somewhat frustrating the double standards that are imposed on small businesses. We were kicked off of MySpace - again peepees - but they have no problem letting spammers pretending to be buxom babes who want to be our friend. Ning bounced us because "NO ADULT" content - hello? As so aptly noted in Avenue Q - The Internet is for Porn! 1 in 7 surfers is looking for adult content, and most likely lives in Utah! - Go Figure! Our host service is one of the largest providers of adult groups, but somehow our link might be considered offensive.
We are back - sort of. The websites are up - however the blogs still seem to be in engineering limbo - but we are working on it. Through all this - many have offered genuine words of support; the Bears of San Francisco were wonderful at IBR and all who stopped by offered encouragement. Some days the Internet can be a lonely, cold place - and then we remember out fuzzy, bear brothers and get all tingly!!
